The Gathering Happenings
There are lots of exciting things happening at The Gathering! Find all the details here:
We pray for healing for our nation. We pray for God's transformation in the hearts of those who celebrate and rejoice in evil. We also pray for comfort, peace, and guidance for our country during these times of conflict. We pray for the family and friends of Charlie Kirk and ask God to touch them and ease their pain. As Christians there are many battles we will face, but we can take comfort in knowing God holds the ultimate victory.
Vote on September 28
Our local church board has nominated Frank Villarreal to be our new lead pastor. If you are at least 15 years old, a regular attendee of The Gathering and consider The Gathering as your home church then you are eligible to vote. Voting will take place after church service on Sunday September 28 in the fellowship hall. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to any of our board members.
A membership class will become available soon for those families who have never taken one, and would like to become members of The Gathering Church.

Mid week Life group- Open to all- Wednesdays at 7pm beginning August 20
Youth group- Open to students in grades 6-12- Meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm- ongoing all year long
Pressing Pause- Open to working women- Meets every other Wednesday night at 7pm beginning September 3rd
Named- Open to all women- Meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month beginning September 13
Fearless Mom's- Open to all moms- Meets every other Friday morning beginning September 26
Young adults bible study- Open to young adults up to age 30- Meets every other Friday beginning September 12.

Bring a dish, bring a friend and your competitive streak as we celebrate being daughters of the King. Doors open @ 6:45 and the party kicks off @ 7. Childcare will be provided so sign up today!

Youth Winter Retreat
The youth winter retreat will be January 17-19 2026 in Trinity Pines Texas. Open to students in 6th-12th grade, sign up by October 15 to get the early bird price of $150.*If you are going, please let Frank or Aracely Villarreal know for preparation purposes.*
