Happening at The Gathering

It is with great joy that we announce Frank Villarreal as our new pastor! Frank has been apart of The Gathering for several years and many of us  know him and his family really well. He and his wife Aracely have a heart for the youth and have been actively serving in various areas through out the church on a regular basis. They have also instilled a love for God and service in their 5 sons as they also are actively serving and participating in different areas throughout the church.
Pray for Frank and his family as they begin this new journey of leading our church. We pray that God uses Frank for his purpose and glory, and that the our church's fire for God increases exponentially under the direction of  our new leadership.

Grab and fill a box with goodies for a child this Christmas!! They will be in the foyer! Don't forget to  grab a label and pay the fee online(no cash allowed in the boxes). Also there are a few rules in what you can place inside the box so please make sure that you understand what can and can not be added to the boxes. See Karina Ramirez for any questions.

Mid week Life group- Open to all- Wednesdays at 7pm beginning August 20

Youth group- Open to students in grades 6-12- Meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm- ongoing all year long

Pressing Pause- Open to working women- Meets every other Wednesday night at 7pm beginning September 3rd

Named- Open to all women- Meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month beginning September 13

Fearless Mom's- Open to all moms- Meets every other Friday morning beginning September 26

Young adults bible study- Open to young adults up to age 30- Meets every other Friday beginning September 12.

Come check out our Library!! Grab a book or Leave a book! It's open for everyone!! Stop by whenever you're at the church. If you have any questions see Yolanda Sanchez.

The youth winter retreat will be January 17-19 2026 in Trinity Pines Texas. Open to students in 6th-12th grade, sign up by October 15 to get the early bird price of $150.*If you are going, please let Frank or Aracely Villarreal know for preparation purposes.*

2026 NYC will be in Salt Lake City Utah!!
For students graduating in 2026-2030 (8th grade- 12th grade)
*Age cut off  is 19*
