Sunday's message centers on the reality of suffering and the tension between life’s “hurry up” seasons of blessing and its painful seasons of waiting. While we readily accept the good from God, we often resist the suffering that slows us down, exposes our weakness, and tests our faith. Drawing from James 5:7–11 and the perseverance of Job, the message calls believers to patient endurance, active trust like a farmer waiting for rain, and hearts firmly anchored in future hope rather than bitterness. Ultimately, it invites the church to face suffering together with courage, trusting that God is compassionate, present in the waiting, and faithful to bring purpose and fruit from even the hardest seasons.
