Talk it over; takeaways from Sunday's message

Sunday's message explored the concept of trusting in God's "Plan A" for our lives, based on Matthew 28. It emphasized the importance of fully surrendering to God's authority, embracing His assignments for us, and finding assurance in His constant presence. The message challenged us to let go of our own backup plans and trust wholly in God's perfect plan for our lives.

Takeaways:
- Acknowledge God's ultimate authority: Remember that Jesus has "all authority in heaven and on earth." This should give us confidence to trust His plan for our lives.
- Embrace your divine assignment: God has a purpose for each of us. Our primary mission is to make disciples and share His love with others, whether that's across the world or with our next-door neighbor.
- Rest in God's constant presence: Jesus promised to be with us "always, even to the end of the age." This assurance should comfort us in times of doubt or apprehension.

As we begin this new year, I encourage you to reflect on areas where you might be holding onto your own plans instead of fully trusting in God's. Consider coming before Him in prayer, laying down your personal agendas, and asking for the courage to follow His plan wholeheartedly.

May we all grow in our trust and obedience to God's perfect plan for our lives.

In Christ's love,

Ps. Jorge Romero
