The Wanderer

Mar 22, 2026    Frank Villarreal

This sermon teaches that just as a loving parent pursues a child who wanders into danger, believers are called to lovingly pursue brothers and sisters in Christ who drift from the truth. It explains that spiritual wandering is usually a slow process rooted in unchecked desires, making it both dangerous and often unnoticed. Scripture calls the church to gently restore those caught in sin, not with condemnation but with love, recognizing the responsibility to help rescue them from spiritual harm. Ultimately, bringing someone back leads to restoration and forgiveness, reminding us that even when it’s uncomfortable or rejected, reaching out is worth it because it reflects Christ and can cover a multitude of sins.
