Are you ready?

Are we truly ready for Christ's return? This message challenges us to examine our spiritual preparedness through the lens of the Parable of the Ten Virgins. Jesus teaches that the kingdom of heaven is like ten virgins awaiting the bridegroom - five wise and five foolish. The key difference? The wise brought extra oil for their lamps. This oil symbolizes our personal relationship with Jesus - something that can't be borrowed or faked. We're reminded that good intentions aren't enough; we need a faith that endures delays and stays alert. The closed door in the parable serves as a sobering reminder that there will be a time when it's too late to enter God's kingdom. Let's ask ourselves: Do we truly know Jesus, and does He know us? Our eternity depends not on religious acts, but on our genuine connection with Christ.
