Those of us who consider ourselves spiritually sophisticated at avoiding truth will often seek to excuse ourselves.
Often silencing the truth with a thousand definitions and a thousand qualifications. Sometimes we redefine the question so that it becomes unanswerable. When that doesn't work, we define the answer so that it no longer applies.
