Pure Religion

This sermon confronts the disconnect between outward religious performance and genuine faith transformation. Drawing from James 1:26-27, Ps. Frank challenges us to examine whether our faith is merely external—marked by church attendance, prayer, and religious activities—or if it has truly transformed our hearts, evidenced by controlled speech and compassionate action toward the vulnerable.

This message calls us to move beyond self-deception, where religious activity masks an unchanged heart, and instead embrace the "pure and undefiled religion" that cares for the hurting and remains unstained by worldly values.
