When it feels like giving up

In times of doubt and despair, we're reminded of the power of unwavering faith through the story of John the Baptist. Even from prison, John's faith remained unshaken as he sought confirmation about Jesus' identity. This narrative, found in Luke 7, teaches us three crucial lessons when we feel like giving up. First, we must choose radical faith, regardless of our circumstances. Second, we need to recognize and remember God's unlimited power. Finally, we're called to share our witness, even amidst our struggles. The message emphasizes that our trials don't define us; rather, they're opportunities to deepen our trust in God. Just as Jesus performed miracles for the centurion's servant, the widow's son, and the sinful woman, He continues to work in our lives today. We're encouraged to persevere, knowing that God's promises are trustworthy and that He's always working, even when we can't see it.
