Living for today or living for tomorrow?

This sermon confronts our tendency to plan confidently for tomorrow while forgetting our frailty and God’s sovereignty. Using James 4:13–16, it reveals how spiritual tunnel vision and pride lead us to trust our own understanding instead of humbly submitting our plans to the Lord. Scripture reminds us that life is a mist, and every intention we set should be held with the posture of “Lord willing.” The call is not to stop planning, but to live faithfully today by surrendering our desires, timelines, and outcomes fully into God’s hands.
