This message explains that sin is not only the wrong things we do, but also the good things we fail to do when we know we should. Based on James 4:17, choosing silence, comfort, fear, or convenience instead of obedience can be a “sin of omission,” just as real as active wrongdoing. The story of the Good Samaritan shows that ignoring a need, even without harming anyone, is still disobedience to God. Therefore, believers are called to repent, persist in doing good even when it is hard or unseen, and live in a way that reflects Christ to others.
